I’m excited to share that in August 2026, I will start as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Princeton Social Neuroscience Lab, supported by a fellowship by the Human Frontier Science Program!
During the next three years, I will lead a research project investigating why we find conversation rewarding and how we connect with others. I’ll be using fMRI hyperscanning, where we scan two people’s brains at once during live, unscripted interactions, to study how interlocutors’ reward-related brain activity coordinates and leads to social connection over time.
This is exactly the research I’d like to do, and I feel incredibly lucky to be starting it alongside such an inspiring team, in such an intellectually vibrant institution.
